Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) retains Blue Cross as its insurer for ostomy supplies. Eligible ostomates are re-assessed every two (2) years and should check with their health-store supplier as to a due date for their assessment to ensure adequate coverage.
To request AADL re-authorization of ostomy supplies, it is recommended that you contact the Community Care Access line three (3) months before your expiry date to book a reassessment and ask for, Community Aids for Independent Living (CAIL). Phone, 780-496-1300.
